This ascot, constructed with mitered garter stitch squares and a few magic touches here and there, is a sweet knit that gives you a really versitile accessory. The Ascot shown to the left as Variation 1 is not actually described in the pattern directions, but once you see the pattern, you'll have no trouble at all making it -- I promise! As with the Marvelous Mitered Corners Ascot Kit, by reversing the way you use the colors you can make two ascots with one kit - another sweet feature of this design.
