*****

Fleece Artist has done it again! Kathryn Thomas, Fleece Artist's founder, master dyer, and yarn scout, discovered a source for creamy soft merino/merino cross yarn that is also organic! Knowing a very good thing when she saw it, she brought it home to share with all of us. And, I can tell you, this yarn is superb!

It really is creamy soft, it is not superwashed, so you can use it for felting if you feel so inspired, it comes from sheep raised organically, and was processed in a certified organic mill. Its DK weight is ideal for just about everything and, now that it is robed in Fleece Artist's flowing colorways, well, life doesn't get much better than this. We are so very excited about this yarn - we think that once you've worked with it, you will be, too.

If you'd like to try a Woolly Thoughts sweater, here are some approximate quantities for different sizes. You can buy an extra skein if you'd like insurance, or you can use the many design and construction suggestions in Woolly Thoughts to modify your sweater should you run short -- you'll see that with the Ashforth/Plummer method, this will not be a tragic moment, but one of liberation.
